Nitin Parrée

Nitin Parree (1996) is an experienced jazz drummer and dedicated teacher with a strong focus on musical expression, timing, and interaction. He studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he completed his master’s degree with research on the comping techniques of Tony Williams.

As a drum teacher, Nitin combines a solid technical foundation with room for creativity, improvisation, and enjoyment in playing. His lessons are dynamic, tailored to the student, and focused on both musical development and building confidence behind the drum kit.

He has studied with leading drummers such as Justin Faulkner (USA), Eric Ineke, and Martijn Vink, and incorporates these influences into his own teaching practice.

In addition to his teaching, Nitin is active as a performing musician and has appeared at venues such as North Sea Jazz, Bimhuis, and Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. His practical experience and musical versatility make him an inspiring and committed drum teacher.

Nitin teaches on Mondays and Tuesdays.
